Art History Plate Series

3rd class Surrealism

Create an 8” x 8” fused glass plate inspired by these different Art Movements: Impressionism, Expressionism/Cubism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism/ Geometric Abstraction. Each class will include a brief overview and students will be given examples of the art during that time period in which to emulate.

Shibori-Inspired Sushi Set Workshop

Create a beautiful Shibori-inspired fused glass Sushi Set using glass with pre-fired designs. Shibori is a Japanese resist-dyeing technique known for its soft, blurred-edged patterns and appreciation for imperfection. There will be a variety of pre-made fused glass patterns to add to your design. The project includes a Sushi Serving Tray (7” x 11”) and two ( 3.5”) dipping bowls.

Chakra Balancing & Fused Glass Mobile Workshop

Join us for a special Chakra Balancing & Fused Glass Mobile Workshop with Annette Jones, a local intuitive Reader & Healer, who will share her knowledge of the Chakra System. Each participant will receive a brief Chakra Clearing and a set of custom blended oils specifically designed for each energy center. Each reading will be done individually, as the rest of the group works on their fused glass project at the work table.

The Fused Glass Mobile Project: create (7) fused glass discs that represent the seven different chakras using a variety of colored glass. Each set will be pre-cut and ready for you to create your designs. After the pieces are fired, a bale can be glued to the back or a hole can be drilled. The pieces can be hung with wire, nylon, cord, twine or any way that you choose. Option available to learn the wire wrapping technique as shown in the example photo above. All materials included

Holiday Ornament Workshop

This workshop is a seasonal favorite that fills up VERY quickly.

Each participant creates three(3) ornaments using a variety of pre-cut glass shapes and speciality glass bits. After firing, a bale will be glued to the back for hanging.

Consider booking an office party, family gathering to create this project on a preferred date via email other than the dates/times listed above.
